Hi beautiful one,
Summer is illuminating our vastness, calling forth our inner bright light, and shining brilliance into all aspects of our being. There is a collective refinement process taking place. We are being guided to refine our ways of doing and being as we examine where we may be expending unnecessary energy and where we can clarify our energy and intentions. We’re refining our habits, mission, vision, connections, and seeing more clearly the direction we are heading. The upcoming full moon in Capricorn will solidify the changes. Are you feeling the expansion?
With the Yang Fire energy of peak summer, it can be hard to sit still. At this point we may feel a desire to slow things down in between all the action and listen to our inner realm. We are called to tend to our sacred space within and move with intention as we enter the full moon energy. I have been craving extended meditation, and giving myself that space feels like the most luxurious thing I can do to cultivate my energy.
I want to share some insights into the healing power of meditation. When we begin a path of spirituality, we naturally embark on our healing journey. The call to connect with our spirit is the soul’s natural tendency towards integration and divine union. The path of connecting deeper with our soul, listening to our spirit, and trusting our intuition is healing, as connecting with the divine within and around us is what heals.
Many of us set the intention to meditate to connect with our spirit, develop a baseline frequency of awareness, and feel better. In the initial stage, we may feel motivated to meditate every day but eventually fall out of consistency.
Here’s the thing… meditation is powerful. It heals us. It moves things. But we aren’t always ready to sit with what comes up. A deeper level of healing must take place in order to continue with our spiritual practice so we can sit with our feelings, thoughts, and very precious human tendencies in a loving way.
If you’re having a hard time showing up consistently in meditation, it may not be a lack of discipline or a lack of spiritual appetite. It’s that the stillness, softening, and opening of the meditation itself is creating a clearing into the depths of your inner workings and imbalances, all of your emotions both current and repressed, stagnant or excessive energy, areas of discomfort in your life, and everywhere you may have been ignoring your intuition.
When we come to a place of stillness, we open up to intuitive guidance as we connect to our true self, our inner light, the heart of compassion and soul wisdom. In that place, we only know truth and clarity. When we touch clarity, connect to our inner knowing, and notice our discomforts we tend to run the other way because it’s not the right time, it’s too much to handle alone, we don’t have the time or energy to deal with it yet, and we don’t trust that it is safe to feel these feelings and look deeper.
This is why healing becomes necessary on the spiritual path and why the spiritual path is the same as the path of healing. To progress on our spiritual path, we must address the parts of ourselves that are uncomfortable, the old story, the outdated mental patterns, and the areas of our bodies that need healing. If we don’t pursue and honor our spirit’s call for healing and wholeness, we cannot continue to meditate, connect to our intuition, or deepen our spiritual awareness.
When we heal, when we breathe and surrender to our innate soul wisdom, we allow more of our KAMI or true self to radiate throughout our being and into the web of our lives, loving and honoring the magnificence of existence, the divine in everything.
So next time you give yourself a hard time for being inconsistent with meditation or falling away from your practice, rather than assuming you just don’t have discipline and maybe it’s not for you, ask yourself…
Where do I need healing?
What is the truth my heart is revealing to me when I’m in connection to my spirit?
Where can I open and soften more as I surrender to my natural energy and inner knowing?
In the sacred healing arts and energy medicine, healing is not just for when we are imbalanced, but also to keep physical, emotional, and spiritual energy moving properly through the body for true vitality. Imbalance forms when energy stagnates, is excessive or deficient, and when emotional energy is repressed or unprocessed.
Healing through the sacred healing arts opens the flow of natural energy to facilitate the intelligence of nature and the inner knowing of the spirit in harmonizing heart, body, and soul. Any session you experience with me is a space to connect to the elements of your energy and essence, a space to heal, grow, witness your grace, be seen and heard, merge with the heart of your inner being, vibrational alchemy to remember the resonance of your soul, your evolutionary path, and where you came from, softening into the depth of your sacred web of life.
I have just a few open sessions for healing in July. If you’re feeling the call to work together, send me a message here, on instagram, or book a session here.
Thank you for being here, and I hope you enjoy the summer sun!
With love and Reiki light,
Erla Sól
